Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Ambulatory Infusion Center has an opening for a Registered Nurse.

The Registered Nurse will support the Procedure Center, Bronchoscopy Lab, and Ambulatory Infusion Center. And, will participate in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures on both inpatients and outpatients of all ages.

The Registered Nurse works collaboratively with physicians performing thoracentesis, paracentesis, lumbar punctures, infusions (non-chemotherapy), bronchoscopy and a variety of other procedures. Administration of moderate sedation when ordered. Nurses assist in placement of multiple types of vascular access for both short and long-term use.

The Registered Nurse will provide patient education i.e., care of ports, PICC lines, etc.

The Registered Nurse will coordinate care of the patients and services. He/she can identify safety concerns in the age-related population and institutes additional measures to provide a safe environment and identify development milestones in the age-related population.

Note: All External Hires must successfully pass a background check, a prohibited substance screening, and a pre-employment physical.

E ducational Requirements:

BSN preferred

License/Certification/Registration Requirements:

California RN License, American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS. Specialty Certification (within one year of hire for external candidates)


Two years of recent ICU, ER, Cath Lab, or Interventional Radiology experience preferred, but will consider other acute care experience that may be applicable to procedures. Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written English, basic computer navigation skills. Must be competent in phlebotomy, IV starts.

Physical Demands: (e.g., lifting, standing, walking)

Sitting, walking, standing, and lifting up to 25lbs. Exposure to normal office and clinical area noise.
