Clinical Social Work Supervisor
Summary of Essential Job Duties:
The LCSW is responsible for the planning, organization, and implementation of social work services to cancer patients and their families. The LCSW provides individual and group counseling to patients and families and facilitates the mobilization of community resources to support optimal functioning. The Clinical Social Work Supervisor oversees the Social Workers and is responsible for maintaining competencies, performance evaluations, training, education and mentoring support.
•Master’s level social work degree required
•Achieved minimum years of social work experience as required by particular state regulations, in a healthcare setting
•Maintains active LCSW license with appropriate state agency in accordance with applicable state laws and in good standing
5 years experience and demonstrated skill in working with multidisciplinary team preferred (Oncology experience preferred) and 2-3 years supervisory experience required.
Normal physical requirements for routine administrative responsibilities carried out at a desk.
