Cedars-Sinai Training Specialist- Patient Financial Services in Los Angeles, California
The PFS Training Specialist develops and provides educational material/programming, facilitates the collection and analysis of training specific feedback, and mentors team members to ensure ongoing growth and development goals (personal and company) are achieved.
The work effort is driven by the annual strategic planning conducted with the department leadership team.
In the development of a comprehensive curriculum, the PFS Training Specialist addresses supervisor/manager recommendations, team member stated goals, changes in regulatory requirements, compliance needs, changes in technology application, and performance/quality improvement initiatives.
The PFS Training Specialist guides and works with subject matter experts to teach pertinent skills to adult learners to optimize job performance.
3 years in a training or teaching role
2 years in a healthcare setting related to training function e.g., Health Information Management, Billing, Revenue Integrity, Admissions
Epic EMR knowledge and proficiency preferred
Educational Requirements: Bachelors Degree
