Cedars-Sinai Temporary Resources Assistant - Healthy Habits in Los Angeles, California

Job Posting: As part of a strategic effort to combat childhood obesity, Cedars-Sinai is helping children and their families lead healthier lives through Healthy Habits. Healthy Habits provides education and technical assistance to support healthy eating and physical activity to children and families in underserved communities. Healthy Habits is comprised of a high energy, highly motivated and passionate team dedicated to serving the community. Healthy Habits is a signature community benefit program of Cedars-Sinai and currently has a temporary need for data entry and coding support. In this assignment, the Temporary Resources Assistant will be responsible for data entry and coding of the program evaluation forms, primarily the Day in the Life Questionnaire (DILQ) into REDCap. The DILQ is a 4-page questionnaire completed by elementary-aged students. Other data entry may include Parent Feedback forms into Excel. This is a Temporary position with an anticipated length of one month.

Qualification Requirements/Preferences:

Education Certifications/Licensure Experience Physical Abilities Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and REDCap or other online database required

  • Proficient in SPSS preferred

  • Fluent in Spanish preferred


  • Experience in data entry in Excel and online database such as REDCap required

  • Experience in research, data collection and analysis preferred
