What will you be doing in this role?

Functioning under the supervision and direction of the

Associate Director of Healthy Habits, the Student Intern (Per Diem) will

support the implementation of Healthy Habits curriculum at partner schools.

The Student Intern will receive training and mentoring from

Healthy Habits lead staff and assist in teaching the Healthy Habits elementary

curriculum in classrooms. Will assist with virtual teaching and virtual program

projects.

Additional job responsibilities include:

  • Collecting and recordingevaluation data per the program’s evaluation plan.

  • Supporting Healthy Habitsschool events as needed.

  • Tracking administrativetasks including receipts, and mileage.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree required. Major in nutrition, public health, community health, kinesiology or a related field preferred

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working in Community Health Settings

  • Current California driver's license and vehicle for travel
