The Badge Office within our Security department is currently seeking for a highly motivated Sr. Administrative Assistant who enjoys and excels at providing administrative support in a team environment.

About the Team

The Security Office manages the Cedars-Sinai Security program. In addition, it staffs the Badge and Key Offices, oversees staff Fire Safety Training, schedules Fire Drills, prepares visitor passes (AKA temporary badges), and conducts the training/onboarding of all rank and file security officers.

The Badge Office of Cedars-Sinai Security is here to serve and support staff and faculty with their identification and access needs on the Medical Center campus, as well as associated off-site locations.

About the Role

The Sr. Administrative Assistant for the Security Badge Office will be responsible for badging and re-badging various personnel, including, but not limited to, employees, students, physicians, contractors, vendors, donors, retirees, etc. This individual will also perform a broad range of clerical, administrative and general office activities in order to support the facilitation of administrative workflow within the department.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED is required

Bachelor's Degree is preferred

Experience, skills, and abilities we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 2 years of office and administrative experience required.

  • Working knowledge/experience in grants, research, and budgeting is highly preferred.

  • Ability to handle multiple demands and/or manage complex and competing priorities.

  • Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines.

  • Ability to demonstrate time management and priority setting skills.

  • Ability to use software applications and operate technological devices (e.g.: computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc).

  • Ability to identify problems and resourcefulness to resolve them independently and on own initiative.
