Under the direction of a Licensed Care Giver, the Senior Orthopedics Technician, performs a variety of direct patient care activities or tasks specific to the musculoskeletal patient population. Assists physicians with activities such as skeletal traction and casting with and without reductions. You will apply suspension, splints, braces, skin traction, and other orthopaedic devices as ordered by the physician. Maintain competency skills including the ability to provide care to special patient populations and patients with diverse cultural backgrounds.
High School Diploma/GED.
Two years experience as an Orthopedics Tech preferred.
Orthopaedic Technologist Certified (OTC) preferred.
