Cedars-Sinai Research Administrative Coordinator in Los Angeles, California

Under supervision of the CTSI CTRC leadership, the Research Administrative Coordinator works under the direction of the Research Director and the Research Manager of the assigned research area. Provides reports pertaining to the budgetary and fiscal management of research programs. Assists in coordinating division academic activities. Provides assistance with time and effort reporting. Serves as a liaison to internal departments and external philanthropic and academic organizations. Provides administrative support and coordination of the operational and administrative activities for the research area.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and

directly related experience.

Experience:

•Excellent language skills and understanding of Grants,

Manuscript, and Abstract guidelines. Strong verbal and writing ability as well

as communication, computer, organization, personnel and time-management skills.

Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Ability to work independently, set

priorities, and handle multiple tasks requiring attention to detail. Previous

experience in research environment preferred.

•Proficiency with Windows, Office programs including Word,

Excel, Access, PowerPoint presentation programs, E-mail browsers and online

reporting, with typing proficiency of 60wpm.

Ability to edit material and ensure correct punctuation, spelling and grammar.

Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations. Ability to compose simple

business letters.

Physical Demands: (e.g., lifting, standing, walking)

Must be able to stand and walk distances over the greater

portion of the assigned shift; mobility between campus sites.
