Summary of Essential Job Duties:
Clinical Nurse II assumes the responsibility and accountability of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. Clinical Nurse II makes clinical judgment, and carries out related nursing intervention using the nursing process without supervision. Applies clinical knowledge regarding standing of care to consolidate interventions for time and cost savings. Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory requirements in patient assignment making delegation of tasks, documentation. Coordinates care for the patient and delivery team. Demonstrates a commitment to customer service and an ability to meet the needs and expectation of patients and health care colleagues.
Completion of certified Nursing program; BSN preferred.
A valid California Registered Nurse License. Certified in ACLS, BLS, NRP, Basic/Advanced EFM, Intravenous Therapy, NCC-EFM and RNC preferred.
1+ years Labor and Delivery experience.
Physical Demands: (e.g., lifting, standing, walking)
Must have physical ability and perspective acuity to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect patient care functions. Must be able to perform assigned duties in a demanding work environment.
