A prospective candidate assumes responsibility and accountability for the
nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The Clinical Nurse II
consistently demonstrates professional skills and abilities that utilize
his/her knowledge base and proficient skills. Demonstrates motivation,
creativity and serve as a catalyst for effective changes within Nursing.
Applies clinical knowledge regarding standard pattern of care to consolidate
interventions for time and cost savings. Assumes responsibility for patient
advocacy, patient rights and meeting customer’s expectation.
Note: All External Hires mustsuccessfully pass a background check, a prohibited substance screening, and apre-employment physical.
BSN in Nursing preferred
Valid State of California License as a Registered Nurse required.
Prior OR experience required, one year cardiology experience preferred.
Meets specialty specific competencies for assigned clinical nurse level area.
Working knowledge of applicable Standards of Practice.
Demonstrates a commitment to customer service and an ability to meet the needs
and expectations of patients and health care colleagues.
Full command (verbal and written) of the English Language.
Meets clinical criteria and protocol for Clinical Nurse assigned level.
Lifting, standing and walking.
