Cedars-Sinai Physical Therapist I - Ortho - Outpatient in Los Angeles, California

The staff of the Cedars-Sinai Orthopedic Physical Therapy Clinic work closely with the medical center’s medical staff to provide excellent and innovative care to patients requiring care due to post-operative and chronic conditions. This clinic is a fast-paced environment requires the ability to work independently.

As a full-time, Physical Therapist in the Cedars-Sinai Orthopedic PT Clinic, you will primarily complete evaluations and provide appropriate treatment interventions per policies. Complete required documentation accurately and thoroughly within expected timeframes. Utilizes validated and standardized outcome measures to establish goals, demonstrate progress and patient rehabilitation prognosis. Monitors and modifies the progress of patients assigned to assistants. Demonstrates effective communication skills with patients, families, and care team members

Educational Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program- Required (bachelors)

Master's Degree- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program - Preferred

Doctorate Degree Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program - Preferred

License/Certification Requirements:

California Physical; Therapy License

Basic Life Support from the AHA or ARC required


PT I- No experience required.

Must be competent by virtue of training and/or experience to perform evaluations, design and implement treatment plans and provide education in a manner appropriate to the patient's age.

Experience and/or knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques in a medical and physical disabilities setting.

Physical Demands:

Able to push, pull, lift or carry 0-35 pounds on an intermittent basis;

Able to sit, stand, walk, bend, squat consistently to administer manual exercises and techniques safely;

Able to assist the patient with physical activities such as transfers, bed mobility, and ambulation.

Able to identify the need for and arrange assistance to maintain safe techniques.
