Summary of Essential Job Duties: As a Manager of Talent Acquisition, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the operations, staff and services of a team of nursing recruiters. You will provide leadership to ensure sourcing and recruiting activities, attract, recruit, retain and develop top talent. This responsibility includes managing the daily operations and performance of nursing recruitment staff. Your role will include providing expert consultation and training to both recruitment and human resources staff as well as management at all levels. Your input and expertise will make a difference in a wide variety of issues that involve recruitment strategies. You will partner with leadership throughout the organization to develop customized plans to meet their staffing goals. Additionally, you will participate or lead activities including media planning, business process review and improvement, program development and cross-functional human resources projects. #LI-Corp
Education Certifications/Licensure Experience Physical Abilities Educational Requirements:
Requires Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline. Four years of relevant experience could be considered instead of a degree.
Certification in HR Management or Healthcare Recruitment preferred.
•Five or more years relevant human resources experience required with demonstrated solid experience and knowledge in recruitment.
•Two or more years of previous management experience with strong supervisory skills required.
•Healthcare experience preferred.
•Previous experience with nurse recruitment preferred.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
•Excellent knowledge and application of federal and California employment laws, regulations and legislation; including working knowledge of employment law as it is applied to recruitment.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, influencing, listening, fact finding, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
•Ability to think strategically and execute systematically.
•Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Physical Demands: (e.g., lifting, standing, walking)
•Ability to move throughout all areas of the immediate and adjacent Medical Center and Health System campus, sit for long periods of time and keyboard for long periods of time.
•Must be able to work in a busy environment which includes constant interruptions, walk-ins and many phone calls.
