The Manager, Distribution/Supply Chain manages operations of supply distribution in OR, GI Lab and Cath Lab par level locations. Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulatory requirements. Maintains staff compliance with TJC and CMS standards Manages fiscal responsibility for the department including budget preparation, labor, supply and cost management. Develops and administers plans for staffing and supervision including hiring, orientation, continuing education, competencies, schedules, work assignments, performance evaluation and disciplinary action. Collaborates with other departments in cross-functional process improvement, open communication, teamwork and problem solving to ensure effective coordination of services.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years management experience with supply distribution and logistics in an acute care facility Management of union employees Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory requirements Experience with Joint Commission and CMS surveys preferred Ability to lead and manage staff including selection, development, motivation and education Financial management skills to prepare, monitor and control budgets while reducing expenses. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
