Cedars-Sinai EIS Senior Data Warehouse Architect\Prog in Los Angeles, California

The architect\programmer will be responsible for data warehouse architecture tied to operational and analytical data stores. This may include modifying the ODS, Data Warehouse model design, or data load process. This position interfaces with business stakeholders and business analysts to gather DW requirements and translate business requirements into data warehouse design.

The candidate must have prior history with Oracle PL/SQL, dimensional models via a star schema approach, solid troubleshooting & analytical skills, and proven SQL query capability. Epic Clarity knowledge and/or Embarcadero ER/Studio is a plus; knowledge of healthcare terminology is essential.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and five years work related experience in the Data Warehouse field; OR Ten years work related experience in the Data Warehouse field.


•At least three years of experience working in the Healthcare industry preferred

•At least five years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL programming.

•At least three years recent experience working with nix or Linux server.

•Must have a thorough knowledge of Oracle Database

•Three years of experience working with Embarcadero modeling tools, preferred.

•Knowledge of development life-cycle and production environment procedures.

•Must have good communication, analytical, and organizational skills: both written and verbal.

•Proficient on writing and maintaining SQL Code.
