Cedars-Sinai Data Management Coordinator with Raiser's Edge experience in Los Angeles, California
Reporting to the Senior Data Management Analyst, the Data Management Coordinator helps maintain the integrity of the biographical and prospect data of the constituents in the fundraising donor database for Cedars-Sinai. The Coordinator will be responsible for working with Raiser's Edge and creating queries for data cleansing and audit purposes, performing data imports and exports, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and training users in the proper usage of the database. In addition, the Data Management Coordinator assists in the application of the Development Operations business rules accurately and efficiently, and establishes strong customer service-oriented relationships with colleagues throughout the department.
Key responsibilities include:
•In coordination with other members of the data management team, maintain, audit and adjust biographical and prospect data in the donor database;
•Accurately and efficiently import/audit new constituent records from various sources, applying steps to minimize duplication;
•Export data for mailing lists and other reporting purposes, ensuring the accuracy of the final product while meeting project deadlines;
•Make recommendations for process improvement to help streamline the functioning of the business unit overall.
•Provide Raiser’s Edge training to new and existing Community Relations colleagues;
•Assist in the application of operational business rules and follow business processes to ensure accuracy and quality of constituent data;
•Provide exceptional service to donors, stakeholders and colleagues; facilitate communication and collaboration within the unit;
•Other duties as assigned.

- Associate’s degree or higher required
•1+ years of related experience
•Experience with Raiser’s Edge is mandatory (Query, Import, Export, Addresses, Addressee and Salutations, Appeals, Attributes, Membership, Prospect, Gifts, Mail)
•Ability to manage data within a complex database required
•Computer proficiency required in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel (Basic Formulas such as VLOOKUP, CONCATENATE, IF, TRIM, PROPER, Pivot tables)
•Solid knowledge of records management, policies and procedures
•Must be able to multi-task, work in a fast-paced office and work with multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy
•Skills in working independently and exercising good judgment
•Some NetCommunity experience is preferred
