Summary of Essential
Job Duties: Responsible for performing the following job duties as a
telecommuter/per diem basis:
- Identify and foster new outreach relationships engaging them as stakeholders
and partners in our research mission.
- Leverage partnerships into viable research opportunities at onsite and
offsite clinics as well as community events.
- Develop standard operating procedures for research subject recruitment and
informed consent/assent for multiple research projects and appropriate to a
broad array of environments, including outpatient clinics, in patient room, off
site events such as health fairs, home visits, and others.
Train new coordinators.
Develop materials for continuous education for coordinators and
- Oversee the informed consent and recruitment efforts of all coordinator staff
and ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations. Including
educating new faculty and research fellows about IRB and compliance issues.
Serve as a lead coordinator liaison with all investigators.
Monitor eligibility criteria for all ongoing studies.
Identify eligible candidates for a broad array of projects.
Work closely with the leadership team to continuously improve patient and
subject experience while optimizing research efforts.
- Offer insight and advice to leadership team and all investigators on research
subject interactions for daily practice and also in for development of new
- Obtain informed consent at all venues.
-Documents all required subject and research related data in the research
- Educates trainees about compliance issues related to human research.Educational
Requirements: BA/BS degree
License/Certification/Registration Requirements: ACRP/SoCRA (or equivalent)
Experience: Five (5) years minimum experience in area of research specialty
Physical Demands: Able to perform moderate lifting. Able to sit, stand and walk
for prolonged periods of time. Able to read papers and online documents. Able
to operate standard office equipment. Able to exercise physical ability and
perspective acuity to satisfactorily perform essential job functions.
