How would you like to work Per Diem as a Phlebotomist?
Under the general supervision of the manager, the Certified Phlebotomist performs blood collection procedures, including venipuncture, skin puncture and special collection procedures. Responsibilities include collecting, receiving and distributing laboratory specimens and logging specimen collection information. Performs all job duties with sensitivity and attention to the age and developmental issues of the patient population(s) being served. Routine operational and support functions, primarily phlebotomy (Pediatric and Neonatal experience preferred), data entry and communication of test results.
High School Diploma or GED required.
California State Phlebotomy certificate.
1 year experience preferred
Practical knowledge of computer operations
Experience in lab settings.
Venipuncture techniques required. Preferred with Pediatric blood collection.
