Summary of Essential Duties:
Responsible for supporting diagnostic procedures, triaging calls, and administering medications in an outpatient Cardiology clinic
Outpatient procedures and treatments include Stress Echo, Dobutamine, Bubble Studies and Definity
Call patients with lab results and educate them on their their plan of care
Conduct patient blood draws
IV insertion and monitoring patients during treatments
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
Current, unrestricted California RN license required
ACLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
Congestive Heart Failure certification preferred
A minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience required
Experience in an ambulatory clinic setting preferred
At least 1 year of Cardiology experience preferred
Strong IV skills required
Ability to interpret EKG results preferred
