Job Posting: Associate Director of Case Management

You have the vision to create change, the grit to galvanize others, and the patience to watch your vision bloom

If you’re looking for a chance to play an instrumental role in shaping consequential change, you’ll find it here at Cedars-Sinai Hospital. As the scope of medical care broadens—from a hospital’s primary function as an acute-care provider to becoming the hub of long-term wellness management, so will the range and definition of case management—especially in an 886-bed, progressive, ever-expanding hospital like Cedars-Sinai.

We are currently looking for someone who, as Associate Director of Case Management, can envision and build bridges from the old emphases to the new. An endeavor of this magnitude requires someone with both the confidence and sensitivity to map out, bring in and nurture new interpretations of various roles and interrelationships—between different areas of the hospital as well as the growing garden of disciplines within each team.

It’s an exciting time, but also a challenging one. And you must be someone who is truly passionate about the opportunity to redefine, re-engineer and continually revise your own vision to serve the hospital’s constantly-changing needs.

Your role will encompass everything from the development and implementation of appropriate work assignments and staffing levels to serving as an expert resource on laws, policies and operational procedures as well as seeing where and how to facilitate change that will promote a farther-reaching continuum of care. The sky’s the limit for the right individual.

Note: All External Hires must successfully pass a background check, a prohibited substance screening, and a pre-employment physical.

Cedars-Sinai will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories, in accordance with the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring.

In addition to five years of acute case management experience, and five years of acute RN, M/S or ICU experience in an academic medical center. S/He must be a competent leader with a proven track record of successfully managing RN case managers in a large academic medical center.
